After years of seeing my husband without a proper wedding ring, I was tired of seeing his finger without a band.
My husband works with cars and is very tough on jewelry. We knew if he was going to get another band, it had to withstand the abuse it would take.
Once I contacted Mountainview Rings and Things, I knew they were the vendor I wanted to work with. Kris showed us the ideas she had and I knew I wanted certain stone fragments to be added so it matched my ring. She also suggested using hammered tungsten, as it’s a unique look, but also extremely durable.
Kris came up with a very creative idea to use Koa wood, which is native to Hawaii, our favorite vacation destination, and having a small part of Hawaii in my husband’s band means so much to us.
His wedding band came out even better than I expected. It is gorgeous and has all of the stone fragments I wanted and because the band has 2 channels, we had Kris place the Koa wood in one channel and all of the stone fragments in the other.

I was surprised and excited to receive my tumbler as an unexpected gift! It was engraved on two sides and I couldn’t be happier. I’ve used my tumbler many times and other than me dropping it on the ground, it’s still in the same condition as when I received it.
